The primary objective of our platform is to keep you well-informed about the projects your Municipality is undertaking in your area. We achieve this by delivering pertinent notifications through email, SMS, or automated calls. Upon enrolling in the system, you'll be prompted to select your preferred notification channels, and it's vital to subscribe to specific projects to start receiving notifications. To ensure you receive the appropriate notifications, it's crucial to maintain accurate contact information, particularly your address. You have the freedom to unsubscribe from notifications at any time. Below are the steps to unsubscribe:
Option 1: Unsubscribe from your profile
Sign into your Resident Portal. On the upper right hand corner you'll find a blank avatar, click on this and select "Edit Profile". Now, you will see a screen that shows the types of notifications you have selected. Simply check or uncheck the boxes that pertain to the types of notifications you'd like to turn on/off. Click "Update Profile" to save your selections.
Option 2: Unsubscribe to a particular project
At any time you may subscribe/unsubscribe to any project listed on the Home Screen of your Resident Portal. Simply navigate to a project, select it, and click on the subscribe or unsubscribe button. This will either add or remove you from being notified of a particular project.
Option 3: Unsubscribe directly from a delivered notification
SMS Message: If you would no longer like to receive SMS messages from your Municipality, simply reply with the keyword "STOP". This will uncheck the SMS messaging option on your profile and also send a stop request through our telecommunications provider. To resubscribe, you will need to send a text to the same phone number (unique to your municipality) with the keyword "START". You will also need to re-check the SMS button on your Resident Portal Profile.
Email: If you would no longer like to receive email messages from your Municipality, simply click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email. This will uncheck the Email messaging option on your profile automatically. If you wish to resubscribe, you will need to re-check the Email button on your Resident Portal Profile.
Automated Call: If you would no longer like to receive automated call messages from your Municipality, during the phone call, simply press on the number on your phones keypad that corresponds to the opt out instructions at the end of the call. This will uncheck the automated call option on your profile automatically. If you wish to resubscribe, you will need to re-check the automated call button on your Resident Portal Profile.
If you are having trouble and need additional help, please contact your municipality directly. We are unable to handle opt in/out selections on your behalf.
Note: By submitting your phone number and selecting “SMS” and/or “Automated Calls”, you agree to receive periodic autodialed notifications regarding project information and promotional information from your municipality . Your agreement is not a condition of any purchase. You may opt out at any time using your notification preferences located in your account. Standard message and data rates may apply.
