HOW TO SEND NOTIFICATIONS

The notification capability is one of the most powerful tools our platform provides. Our “Special Sauce” is the ability to draw a lasso on a map around the area you’re affecting, and those residents living within the impacted area will get a real time notification, to the notification type they prefer. Let’s walk through a few steps on how to do this to get you on your way.




Summary

You’ve now completed sending your first notification. Remember to only send notifications to resident who have opted in. It’s important to be mindful of not only when you’re sending notifications, but also be sure to keep the content professional. For mailboxes that are not monitored (SMS/Calls always, emails depending on your settings), make sure to include a note saying “Inbox is not monitored. Do not reply.” We take care of all of the unsubscribe messages for texts by including “Reply STOP to unsubscribe” at the end of every text. Autoamted calls will include a message saying “Press 1 to unsubscribe”. Emails will include a link at the footer to click on to unsubscribe.
